Grace Manor Ambassador

Do you enjoy welcoming people and helping them find their way around? In this role, you would be the first point of contact for visitors to Grace Manor.

To ensure that visitors to the Grace Manor facility are greeted warmly and directed to the appropriate person or department.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Greet visitors with a smile, helping to create a welcoming environment.

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate resource personnel, department, or area of the building.

  • Ensure visitors use the logbook to sign in and out.

  • Remind visitors to wear PPE, use hand sanitizer and follow hygiene protocols currently in place at the facility.

  • Receive deliveries as needed and inform appropriate staff.

  • Good, clear communication skills

  • Ability to follow through with direction

  • Positive attitude, willingness to help others, flexibility, assertive, confident

  • Familiarity with Geriatrics and/or vulnerable populations (addictions, mental health, homelessness) an asset

  • Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check mandatory for this position
