Miywanohk: meaning "in a good place", provides safe, affordable, and sober living (transitional housing) community for adults (18+). With personalized support, life skills programming, and a recovery-oriented community, participants can maintain sobriety, build independence, and transition successfully into long-term housing.

What is it?
Miywanohk is a new sober living (transitional housing) program for adults of all genders who have completed residential treatment or maintained sobriety for at least 18 months but do not have a safe, affordable, sober place to live. The program provides a purpose-driven community with affordable one-bedroom and shared units with supports. Participants work with staff to create a personalized transition plan focused on stability, skill-building, and independent living.
Who is it for?
Adults (18+) of any gender who:

Have successfully completed an addictions recovery program or maintained sobriety for a minimum of 18 months.

Are willing to live in a substance-free environment and follow program guidelines.

Are able to live independently with light support.

What is the program?
Miywanohk offers residents a stable and supportive environment for 23 months as they transition into permanent housing. Our staff provide practical life skills, connect residents with local resources, and offer guidance in areas such as employment preparation, budgeting, and overall well-being. The program fosters independence, dignity, and community engagement, helping residents build a strong foundation for long-term recovery and housing stability. Spiritual Care supports residents’ holistic growth and personal reflection throughout their journey.
