Role Purpose Summary

To ensure that visitors to the Grace Manor facility are greeted warmly and directed to the appropriate person or department.

Key Accountabilities

• Greet visitors with a smile, helping to create a welcoming environment.

• Direct visitors to the appropriate resource personnel, department, or area of the building

• Ensure visitors use the logbook to sign in and out

• Remind visitors to wear PPE, use hand sanitizer and follow hygiene protocols currently in place at the facility.

• Receive deliveries as needed and inform appropriate staff

Qualifications

• Good, clear communication skills

• Ability to follow through with direction

• Positive attitude, willingness to help others, flexibility, assertive, confident

• Familiarity with Geriatrics and/or vulnerable populations (addictions, mental health, homelessness) an asset

• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check mandatory for this position

Time Commitment

Length of Shift: 2 hours minimum

Available Shift Times: Weekdays from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Weekends from 8:00 am - Noon and 1:00 - 4:30 pm
